For the shower

Palmers Body Scrub £4.99- When I first get in the shower, I will use a body scrub all over my body to remove the dead skin cells. I have chosen this body scrub above all others for a number of reasons. Firstly, the smell of it! It’s a cocoa body scrub which means it smells just like cocoa powder and it is beautiful! Also, the price of it. It is one of the cheapest body scrubs there is which makes it great value for money because it does exactly what it needs to.

Dove Shower Mousse £3.99- For a cleaner shave, this shower mousse from Dove is perfect! The first time I used this I was addicted to it! I find by using this shower mousse as a shaving foam, I get a really nice shave which leaves the skin feeling super silky and incredibly smooth. I choose the Dove brand above others due to the fact it has a cleaner smell as oppossed to really potent floral scents.

For your hair

Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Foods Mask £6.99- I have been using this hair mask for a while now and it is incredible! For a high street hair mask, it really does the job and will protect your hair if you use it once a week. There are a whole variety of flavours which treat different types of hair; my preference being the coconut scent as it’s just stunning. I would however, love to get my hands on the new watermelon scent which is said to add volume.

L’Oreal Pairs Elvive Dream Lengths Sleek Serum £7.99– This must be one of my longest running staple beauty products! I use this serum once when my hair is still wet which kills any frizz and also provides a bit of protection from heat. I will then use the serum a second time after I have straightened my hair. I do this because it just transforms any frizzy strands of hair into smooth thicker looking locks. It really makes any kind of hair look sleek.

For your face

Clean & Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash £3.39- It took me a while to find a face wash which I could rely on and become a staple in my daily routine. I was losing faith for a while until I came across this Clean & Clear one. It has exfoliants in it’s formula which removes any dead skin cells off your face. Therefore, excess oils will stop being produced. I found from day one my face felt smoother and clearer. Due to it being an exfoliant, I wouldn’t use it day and night. Therefore, I just use it in the mornings and opt for a smoother wash in the evenings.

Nivea Eye Make-Up Remover, Double Effect £3.89- This product was recommended to me by my mum who wears quite a lot of eye makeup. I didn’t bother with it for a while because I relied on purely micellar water to remove my makeup. However, when I did finally try this product I was pleasantly surprised. I found it eases mascara off a lot better than micellar water does and all my eye makeup now just melts away. Therefore, I now use it alongside micellar water when removing makeup.

The Body Shop- Tea Tree Oil £8.50- If you struggle with problem, oily skin then this product will do you wonders. I pop some on underneath my moisturiser at night which allows it to fully sink it whilst I sleep. It works by reducing the appearance of blemishes and also redness surrounding the spots. Any type of Tea Tree oil is great for oily skin but The Body Shop one is at a really affordable price.

Dots For Spots £5.99- This has been a recent purchase of mine (early January) and I didn’t have high expectations. However, I was really shocked with the quality of this product. You pop one onto one of your spots before you go to sleep. Over night it draws out all of the bad from inside the blemish so when you peel it off, it takes out everything it needs to which leaves the area slightly red. This then goes down very quickly and the spots almost vanished. I definitely recommend these.

Eyebrow Razors Facial Hair Remover Shaver £3.79- I was so critical of this trend and it took me a while to give in and actually see what the hype was about. I haven’t shaved my entire face as I’ve heard it can break you out. However, I use it on my eyebrows and it is a great quick fix- especially when we are unable to go to a beauticians to get them done. It can be a bit tricky to get the angles right when shaving your eyebrows but once you learn how to do it, it’s so quick!

For your skin

Dove DermaSpa Beauty Sleep Midnight Melting Body Balm £6.99– I actually received this as a Christmas present this year without knowing what it was. Then I fell in love with it! Putting it on after the shower or before bed really hydrates your skin. It works perfectly after using body scrub as it melts into your skin and leaves you feeling silky smooth. Putting it on before you go to bed will fix any dry skin; it worked magic on my feet. I really recommend this product.

Garnier Summer Body Gradual Tan Moisturiser £6.49- On the same moisturising note as previously mentioned, this Garnier tanner is a wonderful body cream. However, this one has tanning elements which, once sunk in, will leave a beautiful sunkissed glow to your skin. This product is wonderful because it is easily buildable. It’s a perfect duo; it will leave you perfectly moisturised and acts as a fake tan. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is the fact it can leave a horrible smell on your bed sheets as all fake tanning products do.

If anybody owns or have tried these products, I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions! Also, if any of them grab your attention, let me know which ones you’re debating on choosing. Personally I love all of these products and I couldn’t live without any of them (a slight exaggeration). If you have any other staples in your beauty collection I would love to hear them! I’m always looking for new products to try.
